About me!

Today I like to tell you about my family. I have been married to John, a rock 'n roll guitarist, for 39 years. Maybe you've heard of his newest band - Ferd the Snerd. We have four children: Sabetha, John Jr., Jason and Rachel. Sabetha is married to AJ Mumm. They live in Ankeny with my two grandchildren: Drew and Miranda. John Jr. passed away in 1993. His picture is in the trophy case at Carroll High School . Maybe you've seen it. Rachel lives in Madison, Wisconsin. She came back to visit this summer. I always enjoy our time together, even though the visits are always too short. Jason lives here in Carroll.

I will be beginning my after school math club soon - Math Work-Out. Students from my classroom have a snack after school on Tuesdays and then head to the computer lab to work on Skills Tutor. They finish up by going back to the classroom to play “math” games. As a parent of a student in my classroom - your child can benefit from this. Watch for more information!
