The 2009-2010 school year will be my 16th year of teaching special education. Eight years in Boone, Iowa and eight years in Carroll. I live in Arcadia with my husband (Kevin), son (Dylan) and twin sons (Kolby and Colin). My hometown is Sanborn, Iowa. I completed my course work in July 2007 for my masters in education through Viterbo University in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. I received my undergrad degree from Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa - 1993.

1. Spending time with my family and friends...taking walks and playing outside with Dylan.
2. Scrapbooking
3. Children's books....I thoroughly enjoy reading to Dylan each day and to my students while at school.
4. Going to the movies....the popcorn is good too!!!
5. Spending time at the lake....expecially on warm, sunny days.
6. Taking classes....I have always loved going to school!
7. Shopping!
8. Riding or walking around the lake.
9. Swimming....I was a lifeguard for 14 summers.
10. Going out to eat!
