December/January Student Recognition Assembly
The CMS Student Council conducted its December and January student recognition ceremony on Friday, January 28. Students of the Month and First Semester Perfect Attendance winners were recognized and the grade with the highest monthly attendance percentage was revealed.

8th Grade Students of the Month
for October

For the months of December and January, the race for the highest attendance percentage remained extremely close. Because of winter break, the attendance percentage was combined. The winner of the December/January attendance award went to the 7th Grade for having a percentage of 95.99% followed by 8th Grade with 95.66% and 6th Grade with 95.35%.
Special recognition was given to all students that had perfect attendance for First Semester. All students with perfect attendance were entered into a drawing for a Pizza Hut gift certificate and a winner was chosen from each grade.
